Good morning dolls! What better way to farewell September than with a birthday of my own?

This weekend was filled with love, flowers, family and presents, and I am so lucky and grateful

 to have had such an amazing birthday. Another thing to be grateful for? This wonderfully

warm and sunny September and now October.

Algarve Diary

Good morning lovelies! Here is the last post from my latest vacation in Portugal, Algarve. I'll be going back to my New York posts starting from next week.

 It was so much fun to have had the pleasure to share with you this little slice of heaven. There is nothing I love more than traveling, visiting new places, discovering new adventures, waking up in a strange city not knowing what the next week holds but knowing that whatever it is, will change you, grow you, stay with you forever. There is so much beauty in this world, whether it’s in nature, architecture, history, culture. I hope to continue my travels well through life and hope I get to continue to share them with you.

Wishing you all an easy breeze Friday and an amazing weekend ahead. I will be kicking off my birthday celebrations this weekend and come Monday will pass yet another milestone.

Color splash maxi

 

Good morning dolls! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Fingers crossed

the weather will continue to stay this sunny and warm. Without really planning it,

 I spent this weekend sprucing up my appartment, long overdue, and managed to
accomplish almost all on my list. You can follow me on Instagram for more updates
 here. Sunday was spent checking out local artists in Union Square and picking
out a gorgeous Brooklyn Bridge oil painting which is now proudly hanging
 in our living room.

 

 

No, this is definitely not NY, but just one more outfit I wore in Algarve, Portugal.

I just can't seem to let go of this place. There is one more after this and I promise

I'll go back to the land of NY.

 

Speaking of the land of NY, a week from today is my birthday and I can't wait to kiss
goodbye this milestone and embrace the new year of life. I've been very fortunate to have
an amazing partner by my side, and he makes this journey that much more enjoyable year
after year.

Chasing sunsets in Algarve, Portugal II

 

Good morning dolls! Here is another post from Algarve, Portugal, this time it's an evening one.

 I wanted to share a little glimpse of the beautiful sunsets and the cotton candy like skies.

I wore this maxi to dinner on the first night, not realizing quite how windy it gets and

although my dress ended up in all sorts of funny shapes, my hair was less lucky.

Chasing after the sunset, overlooking the cliffs and beautiful beaches, truly a magnificent place.

A Postcard from Algarve, Portugal

 

   Hi dolls! A quick hello from Algrave, Portugal. I wanted to disconnect and fully enjoy this little slice of heaven but  I'm slowly coming back to technology. Hope your September is going well! Here is the first glimpse of this beautiful place. This was our first day, straight from the airport (hotel wasn't ready when we arrived) and after traveling for 13 hours we were exhausted. But the minute we saw all this, all was forgotten as this simply took my breath away. Hope you enjoy these pictures and I'll continue sharing more shortly. Enjoy your weekend lovelies!

Elephants + new hair

Good morning lovelies!

I’ve been a bit absent in the past week simply because I wanted to enjoy these bits

 of summer and take a break from shooting, posting and so on.  Just a little almost

technology free time-off. But I wanted to say a quick hello before I disappear for

just a little while longer.

This is what I’m currently craving and packing as my guy and I head out for our last 2013 vacation. As you may recall we took a trip earlier this year to London and Paris (still can’t believe I finally got to visit these amazing places, such a bucket list check-off). But it was hardly a summer vacation, as it was cold, rainy and involved an insane amount of walking (which I don’t regret for a second). So we decided to stretch the summer a bit more and this time around do nothing but indulge in sunshine, sunsets and beautiful beaches. Algarve, Portugal seems like the perfect place to do just that.

PS. As you may have noticed, I chopped off my hair, new season - new look.

Felt really liberating to have finally taken the plunge.
