It's My Birthday

I’m about a week late on posting these, but nonetheless, I recently celebrated

another wonderful birthday and wanted to share with you a few shots. Get me

balloons, flowers and cake and I’m one happy gal and I hope no matter the number,

 that will always stay the same.

 

There comes a point where everything comes in focus:who you are, what you

 are, what you want and what makes you happy, and with that comes peace

 lightness and confidence. You no longer fuss about the small stuff and no longer

care what other people think. You are who you are, so just BE and

don’t let anyone come between that.

Layering

 

Good morning dolls! Boy how fast does the weekend fly?!As soon as it gets colder,

I tend to hide-out inside, this time it was a brunch at Le Pain Quotidien followed by

 mid-afternoon movie. I'm one of those strange people that prefer to go to the movies

 during the day, so much more peaceful.

 

PS. Gravity has been making a huge buzz for three weeks in a row and I now understand

why, it is absolutely brilliant. They say it is the closest you can come to going into space,

and gush is it magical. But please, please see it in 3D, it truly is spectacular.

Kitty Ears and Dark Lips

 

Good morning dolls! I kicked off the weekend with my newly acquired kitty ears,

visiting my all-time favorite gelato place, Amorino, by Washington Square.

 

Funny story, we first found this place in Barcelona and spent majority of our time

getting our gelato fix on and trying out different flavors. Fast forward about six

 months later, we were strolling the Washington Square Park and kind of found

ourselves in front of this same exact spot, not even knowing that they had

locations worldwide.

Lemon & Lime

Happy Monday lovelies! As it gets cooler in the morning, it's getting that

much harder to get out of bed. Summer is officially winding down and I’m

trying to hold on to it as much as I can.

This post’s title is exactly what came to mind when wearing this outfit. My love of color has grown tremendously and I continue to play around with it as much as I can. It’s such a mood booster and I hope I can continue to incorporate fun colors throughout fall/winter. I normally stick to tones of orange/red so it was really refreshing and exciting for me to try this combo, a new favorite.

SUIT UP FOR FALL

 

 Good morning dolls! Where did the summer go?! Feels like we

have skipped August and went straight for September in NYC.

 

 

 Well I guess in this case I don't mind, as I was able to wear this suit sooner than expected.

This is my definition of fall, this print and colors reminded me of Thanksgiving and falling

leaves and I immediately reached for it. Once on, it was not coming off anytime soon, no

matter what my guy says. And maybe it is a ted bit too much and some (my guy) may even

 suggest I wear it separately, but what fun would that be?

 

So here it is, my ideal, dreamy and delicious first-ever suit, all ready to tackle this fall.

Stripes

Good morning dolls! Hope everyone had an amazing weekend

 

A quick hello until I dive into this busy work week. Here is a casual and summery outfit

 I wore on Sunday. Although I’m a huge fan of stripes, I don’t like to wear them too often and

 always make sure I don’t buy pieces that look too similar to the ones I already have. But I

definitely tend to reach for stripes whenever I’m shopping. Case in point, these shorts. I was

 a bit hesitant at first, but my guy talked me into buying them and now I’m so in love with them.

I love the side detailing and the mustard touches keep it fresh and young.

Walking down memory lane

Good morning lovelies! Friday can't come soon enough I tell ya

 

 

Do you ever go through your pictures and find an item you used to love but completly forgot about its existence? It’s been 5 years since I’ve worn this bellowed French Connection skirt. I used to love the lightness of it, the intricate detailing and colors, it reminded me of  a vacation to the country, walking through the vineyards. Which is why it was the perfect travel pick but somehow through the years it got showed from one place to the other and haven't seen the light of day, until now. A valuable lesson learned: documenting your life through pictures not only takes you down the memory lane but sometimes helps you shop in your own closet.
