San Francisco

Two things to NOT underestimate when visiting San Francisco for the first time:

(1) the level of windiness (no joke)
(2) the mesmerizing charm of the Victorian houses, especially the painted ladies.

Hearst Castle

I first heard of Hearst Castle through some of the bloggers that I happen to follow
on the West Coast and was constantly memorized by how beautiful and picturesque
it is. So when it came time to plan our California road trip, I knew I would be throwing
it to the mix and am so glad that I did. I think the pictures speak for themselves. The
outdoor pool was under construction but the one inside made up for it.

Safari

I have gotten so much wear out of this Zara dress, it's ridiculous to even admit.
It's ancient and I will probably never get rid of it. I squeezed in one last trip of
2014 because quite frankly I am not ready to admit that summer is over. Did
NY even have a summer? I’m off to a road-trip through California and excited
to cross off some of the things on my bucket list…

Can’t wait to share all the scenery, particularly Pacific Coast Highway
drive. I heard it’s epic. Did I mention I’m car sick? This should be fun.

Crop Top

Living in the moment and enjoying every last bid of summer. Picnics
in Central Park, date nights outdoors, drinks at the rooftops, family
barbecues and lazy Sundays. I hope you're enjoying your summer!

Joshua Tree National Park

Checked off two things of my list, visiting a National Park and rock climbing
(in a heel I might add). One of the highlights of my Cali trip and I truly recommend
it to anyone visiting. Although be prepared for some serous heat, it reached
106 by mid-afternoon. One more on my list, Grand Canyon in Arizona and
then I can finally put the desert to rest.

Marrakech, Morocco Part I

I'm back in New York after a wonderful trip to Morocco. Here is a first glimpse
of the beautiful architecture and the mesmerizing tiles that are all around. It’s everything
I thought it would be and more. The beauty of this place speaks for itself and I
was constantly inspired and awestruck by all the colors and intricate detailing.
It was a 106 degrees! something I’m not very much used to, so it was a huge adjustment,
especially since I was covering my legs (as a personal choice, and out of respect for the culture).
Initially I took some loose shirts to cover the shoulders but it soon became clear that I couldn’t
do both in such heat.
Please stay tuned for more on my adventures and let me know what you think!
