San Francisco

Two things to NOT underestimate when visiting San Francisco for the first time:

(1) the level of windiness (no joke)
(2) the mesmerizing charm of the Victorian houses, especially the painted ladies.

Fun & Easy

I have been spending a lot of time in Dumbo lately, simply because of
the proximity to my home. It's pretty close to me, yet offers a refreshing new
neighborhood full of hidden gems, killer views and a constant dose of NYC
inspiration. Brooklyn Bridge is one of my all-time favorite landmarks and I
never get tired of looking at it. Besides, Dumbo has some of the best ice-cream
and pizza around, so what's not to love?!

Staples on Repeat

A quick post of what I wore for a family birthday recently.
These shoes (which I had for years) have recently uncovered themselves
and proved to be irreplaceable, I have since worn them about five times
(which basically means you will be seeing a lot of them).

I’m not even going to hide the fact that I wear these pants more
often than I’d like to admit. Aside from the obvious comfort factor,
they pretty much go with anything. Disastrous, I know.

Central Park

I’m a Central Park groupie. I can spend every day leisurely laying on the grass
or discovering new hidden gems or having picnics at one of the gazebos. It seems
so big, so endless in the middle of such a busy, chaotic city. If you ask me to describe
the perfect day, it would be getting breakfast at CafĂ© Gitani or
Alice’s Tea Cup and heading to Central Park for the rest of the day.

Crop Top

Living in the moment and enjoying every last bid of summer. Picnics
in Central Park, date nights outdoors, drinks at the rooftops, family
barbecues and lazy Sundays. I hope you're enjoying your summer!

HOLLYWOOD

Happy Monday! Three day weekends are awesome, up until you realize that
you are back to 5 day work weeks. Hope you had a fabulous 4th of July!

Another set of photos from my LA trip from two weeks ago.
An obligatory Hollywood sign and the Observatory for some of the best LA views.

Casual in Stripes - California

Happy Friday!

I'm back in NY, but I still have so many Cali memories to share with you guys,
it will be a while until you see NY. Here are a few shots from Laguna Beach.
Although my boyfriend would disagree, I really do pack as light as possible.
I take no more than 3 pairs of shorts, 2 blazers and tees and blouses. These shorts
were worn numerous times but by switching the top and adding the blazer, it creates
a whole new look. Switching up the shoes and sunglasses really makes a ton of difference.
Enjoy your weekend!

Joshua Tree National Park

Checked off two things of my list, visiting a National Park and rock climbing
(in a heel I might add). One of the highlights of my Cali trip and I truly recommend
it to anyone visiting. Although be prepared for some serous heat, it reached
106 by mid-afternoon. One more on my list, Grand Canyon in Arizona and
then I can finally put the desert to rest.
