Walking down memory lane

Good morning lovelies! Friday can't come soon enough I tell ya

Do you ever go through your pictures and find an item you used to love but completly forgot about its existence? It’s been 5 years since I’ve worn this bellowed French Connection skirt. I used to love the lightness of it, the intricate detailing and colors, it reminded me of  a vacation to the country, walking through the vineyards. Which is why it was the perfect travel pick but somehow through the years it got showed from one place to the other and haven't seen the light of day, until now. A valuable lesson learned: documenting your life through pictures not only takes you down the memory lane but sometimes helps you shop in your own closet.

Downtown Chic

Happy Friday!

This has been one of my favorite looks because it was so easy and
effortless yet it looks put together. My favorite outfits are often those
that take the least amount of time.

For me, blazers are a staple. It’s one of those items I always reach for no matter
what season or occasion and I pack a few when traveling. It’s a simple way to
spruce up any outfit. It also comes in handy between those weird seasonal
transitions such as now.

The key is to keep it fun and youthful by mixing a bit of color, in this case I went with the
wine tights and a blossom blouse. The bags chain gives it a bit of playfulness and glamour.

What do you guys think?

This has been one crazy week filled with far too much overtime. I can’t wait to unwind and just take a breather.
On a happier note, I’m deeply in love with my faux-fur vest which I can’t seem to put down. What can I say? It was love at first sight.

Happy Friday my lovelies and hope you all have a fabulous weekend filled with lots of laughter and hot chocolate J

This bit of normalcy is a welcoming distraction from the current reality of NYC due to Sandy. Hoping to get power back sometime soon... For now I’ll try to stay in touch as often as I can.

To all of you effected by Sandy and dealing with the aftermath, STAY STRONG.

Oh how I am missing the normal days from just last week, my posts serve as a constant reminder that happier times will return. :)

Happy Friday! We made it through another busy week and I can hardly wait for the weekend. I'm thinking a day in Central Park and a trip to FAO Schwartz might just be the perfect Saturday.

This season has been all about rich colors and I couldn’t resist piling on some of my favorite colors: purple, green and red.

Have an amazing weekend!

Sweater:  Club Monaco
Pants: Zara (old)
Shoes:  Zara
Bag: Tory Burch

Happy Tuesday! Unfortunately I am a day late on my post due to some technical issues I’ve had yesterday, but fear not, I have returned with vengeance :)

We’ve had the most ideal, warm and sunny weather and I hope it stays this way all throughout October. I had the most amazing weekend pumpkin picking and just enjoying the change of season. Sometimes it’s good to just stop for a moment take it all in, the gorgeous leaves  and the pumpkin cuteness all around.

Hope your week has been off to a great start.
