Hamptons inspired

Good morning lovelies! I indulged in a three day weekend so this one is a day later than usual but hope you enjoy it nonetheless. This weekend we celebrated my guy's birthday with a little too many cocktails and sweets. Deciding to squeeze in as many acitivities as possible, we hit the ground and by Monday have gone shopping on fifth avenue (always a joyride), looked at the amazing Louis Vuitton window displays, had cocktails in west village, picnic in central park (it started pouring the minute we got there but that's just the fun of it all),  ran to FAO Schwarz, got way too much candy, monkeyed around and made our way to Serendipity for a mind blowing Cinnamon
Apple caramel Sunday. All the pictures are on Instagram (@anightinnyc).

I snagged these pants at Zara recently and can't get enough of them. Aside from being
majorly comfortable, they are light as air. My other recent purchase are these 3.1 Phillip Lim
blush beauties. I have been secretly wanting a pair of oxfords for years but just couldn’t
find the perfect pair. These had me swooning for days and I finally went back and made the purchase. I just really love the color and they turned out to be such a staple in my closet.

White blossoms in West Village

Hello my lovelies!

Coming off the 70s temperature high, it became a bit chilly for a few days so I opted for silk pants (or as I call them PJs, similar once worn here) but kept warm with a sweater and a light jacket.  I kept it somewhat light with a white handbag and a white bejeweled sweater, to still have that spring feeling. And what do you know? I ended up perfectly blending in with the gorgeously blooming trees.

I have to say, west village is my all-time favorite, so it’s not surprising that it is also my favorite photo opt spot. Everything looks picturesque and quaint. There is something soothing about rows and rows of gorgeous brownstones covered in greenery and beautiful tulips. I always get so inspired just walking through different streets admiring the architecture.
