Continuing my recent obsession  with hats, I snatched up this burgundy version and couldn’t wait to put it on. Aside from the fact that it’s in my favorite color it also has jewels!! That’s like a double Oreo, no? Clearly my mind is still recovering from the eating frenzy that took place past weekend.

In any event… Happy Wednesday. For those of you in NY, the Rockefeller tree lighting ceremony is tonight, followed by a celebrity filled concert!

Is anyone else having trouble getting back to their normal routine after Thanksgiving weekend? I almost had a breakdown when I realized we are out of pie and I had to get up at 6:30 am again. Happy almost Thanksgiving!

I love this holiday for many reasons, but mainly because I get to be off 4 days in a row and I can get away with stuffing my face with pie (which I love by the way!). But really, I’m just happy to get together with all the family and have a mighty good time. It is also the week I do all my Christmas shopping and there is nothing I love more than buying things for those I love!

On another note, I snatched up this sweater at J. Crew this past weekend (on sale!) and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys. It’s safe to say that if anything is colorful, fun and unusual, it’s bound to end up in my closet and be paired with something just as colorful and unusual, case in point – stripe dress paired with this fun sweater, why not?!

The greatest thing about living in New York City is that no matter how long you’ve lived here there is always something new and exciting to try and explore.

This past weekend I decided to play a tourist. A trip to Times Square, ice skating in Bryant park and drinking mint lemonade at Max Brenner’s was all I needed to be reminded of how much I adore my city. The yellow cabs, the crowds all of it can get too much sometimes but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Now on to new and exciting, what do fashionistas await for this time of year? You guessed it, window displays at Saks!! Saks has the most amazing, intricate and fashion drooling window displays right before Christmas and I can’t wait to see what they will come up with this year (I may take a peak this weekend to see the progress :) ).

I finally jumped on the hat wagon and I must say, I love it!  The holidays are getting closer which means it’s time to find those perfect holiday dresses. I’m loving burgundy dresses and couldn’t resist this one.

The first snow has officially fallen onto New York City, which means it’s time to break out the gloves department and I have been waiting to wear these cuties for quite some time.
